 KR900 Series Low Frequency Vibro-Isolators®

The KR900 Series Vibro-Insulator® Low Frequency Ring Mounts protect sensitive equipment from disturbing frequencies as low as 600 and up to 1800 RPM. These low frequency mounts will guard against unwanted transmission of shock and vibration.

  Features and benefits:

  • High strength Natural Rubber
  • Available in 55 and 65 Durometer Shore A
  • Other elastomer available upon request
  • 4 sizes with loads from 1 to 20 pounds
  • Static Spring Rate (K Value) is 1/2 to 1/3 the Dynamic Rate
  • Fasteners are steel with yellow zinc plating
  • 2-D PDF prints are available for each mount
  • 2-D DWG, 3-D IGES,  and 3-D SolidWorks are available upon request
  • Made in the USA

 Applications:

Sensitive equipment including: medical apparatus, measuring devices, centerfuges, valves, small pumps, small motors, compressors, instrument panels, business machines, cameras, fans.

Environmental Data:

  • All static load test data for the KR Ring Vibro-Insulator® Mounts is based on Natural Rubber.
  • Operating temperatures for Natural Rubber should not exceed 155° F.
  • Natural Rubber is not recommended from exposure to oil, gasoline, ozone sunlight.
  • Static Spring Rate (K Value) is 1/2 to 1/3 the Dynamic Rate.
  • Ring Mounts are not recommended for use in the tension mode.

Natural Rubber (NR)

Advantages:  Outstanding resilience; high tensile strength; superior resistance to tear and abasion; excellent rebound elasticity (snap); good flexibility at low temperatures (-40° to 155° F).

Limitations:

Poor resistance to heat, ozone, and sunlight; very little resistance to oil gasoline, and hydrocarbon solvents; Operating temperatures should not exceed 155° F.

  • Natural Rubber is not recommended from exposure to oil, gasoline, ozone sunlight.
  • Ring Mounts are not recomened in tension applications.

Delivery is 8 weeks.
